Colorado Fishin'

July 2008
We went fishing on the Grand Mesa. We took the old windy road up Land's End and my dad thought he was pretty funny driving crazy. Had any one of us drove like he did, we would have gotten a lecture! I hadn't been in the cool mountain air like that for years...that's the way summer should be - around 70 degrees - and not hotter than hell like it is in St. George. But, then again, I wouldn't spend a winter on the Mesa.
Grandma Fuller is busy all the time. I don't think she can sit still.
She wrote me a nice card and said she had a nice time up on the mountain.

Mom? Dad? hmmm...

Does this mean he's a tree hugger?

Allison and baby Janna - isn't she cute? Too bad she resembles Jason, though.

Milo loves chocolate (like his Mom) and to "Cheese!" for the camera.

Kassie always gets the best perches...she was front and center waiting for a bite, and she got one. Matt was pretty excited to reel it in each time and see that he'd caught another worm.

Dad did a good job cooking the foil dinners.

This was the boys' first experience fishing on the Grand Mesa.

Jason, Uncle Randy, and Mary. Jason is the resident fisherman - he gets everything ready to go and occasionally gets to cast a line in himself.
